Hi friends, Dan here. Sorry it’s been a minute since the last post. I’ve had a lot going on, but it would be too professional of me to make excuses, so here’s just a little apology, AND AN ANNOUNCEMENT. Nice, all caps. Now I feel like JK Rowling. Jk Jk.
So what’s the announcement? I’ve got another book coming out, same label as Song of Kardu. Arthur’s Den. Drum roll…

Please excuse the A.I. art, it’s for announcement purposes only.
So, what’s it about?
Save State is a gamelit novel set in a video/neural game universe called Hades Galaxy. Alistair Beach has been playing the game so long, he’s forgotten he’s human. In the real world, galactic explorers Ariadne and Lyta discover his body frozen in cryo, waiting for his consciousness to return upon the completion of his mission. They soon realize he isn’t just a player lost in an ancient game, he’s humanity’s only hope against the game’s greatest vengeance, stealing human bodies.
I started Save State after I finished the first draft of Song of Kardu, taking a break from the bigger series project as something of an exercise. I didn’t expect it to evolve in the philosophical, high-octane piece that it became, and I really can’t wait to release Hades in all of its mystery to readers’ hands.
Release date to be announced soon. I’ll update this article and post a new one with links to the pre-order.
Till then, cheers and all that,
Dan
